I could use a bit of advice. I've got a 72 gallon bow front tank and stand that I used to run as a planted tank I've neglected for a long time. The tank needs to be descaled pretty badly, the light fixture is completely dead, and the stand could probably "stand" to be replaced, so I'm at the point where I'm wondering if I should clean up this tank and get a new stand and lighting, or consider going clean slate and getting a smaller more compact kit, maybe a 50 or 60 gallon. I've already got a couple canisters that have never been used to start clean again. The tank itself is almost 20 years old so besides cleaning, it's never leaked but I'm wondering if it could some fresh sealant on the seams. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
