Stargrass lost all leaves

I recently bought some stargrass. They weren't looking too well at the store but I got extras so I took the risk. It's been 5 days in my aquarium, and they were okay, but far from great. This morning, one of them has lost all its leaves to melt and another has its leaves melting and clumping in on one another. What caused this sudden detoriation? Is it the adjustment period or have I lost the leafless plant?

Light is low to medium and kept on at least 8 hrs. I use liquids CO2 and ferts. Thanks for your help!

Its a very delicate plant, that's all I have to say. Grows crazy fast and can blacken out in the same rate if parameter change.

Thank you for the info! By parameter, are we talking the same parameters involved in fish acclimation? Therefore, perhaps the plants could not take the change in water characteristics?
It grows well in my aquarium but I have medium/high light, moderate CO2 and about 20ppm nitrate. If the leaves turn black that indicates lack of nitrogen. If it gets established it grows really well. My initial guess would be too low light in your case but could also be lack of nitrates. Do you test water parameters? See the plant profiles below.

Star Grass (Heteranthera zosterifolia)
I swear this plant just has a mind of its own. Had 2 stems come in as an extra with a plant order. Planted them 1.5" apart in same substrate/light. One stem had the leaves start to turn black but is throwing new shoots out of the base. Other stem has nearly doubled in height with new growth (old growth stayed vibrant). They're approx 2" in front of my Diandra that's thriving (which is prob the most picky plant in my tank and the king of turning black if just the slightest thing is wrong...lol).

That being said, low light might be the culprit if all of it is melting with no signs new growth to replace it.
