Has anyone tried to mix Ro and SS together ahead of time to make a liquid solution to have on hand for water changes? That way, it is already made up and only has to be dosed into the change water?
I thought about this before. But I don't have any very clean container/jar on hand and gave up this idea. If don't use clean container or water, bacterial will grow in it.
But I'm not to sure how well SS would mix in concentrated amount.
I wonder if adding it to boiling water would help, but than who knows what you'd get.
I wouldn't worry about sterilizing. Overkill. What is the expiry of liquid forms of mineral sln sold over the counter? Make a new solution every six months or so?
I never have but I just shelfed my SS, because I found a LFS that had a box full in the back of Nutrifin african Ciclid conditioner he sold me for 20$. Have 10 Bottle of it now... Yeah
