Given the numerous crypt species from Sri Lanka in the hobby, I was just wondering why I never saw, or even heard of, these plants while growing up in Sri Lanka. Does anyone know what they are called there? Any other Sri Lankan expatriates on this forum?

The scientific names are used world wide. I keep them in my tank and I find they are relatively easy and attractive sp. of Crypts. I keep Cherry Barbs that are native of Sri Lanka and I've also bred Ceylon Combtails in that tank. They were housed at the time with Zipper Loaches also from Sri Lanka.
