With or without flash, there is a noted difference.
You can see who cares and puts time into breeding and culling, and those who just care about quantity as opposed to quality.
I also think that your first pic of the "A" is probably flattering them without the flash.
Flash tends to pale them out.
I hope your B batch improves the A, instead of the A deteriorating or stepping back from the B's.

Uh, your guppies, especially females will take care of the baby culling for you.
I'd yank Soothings' and place in another tank. They should stand out easier
