Does any1 know the brand name for 4 Pin Base Compact Fluorescents light at homedepot This is what it looks like spec are 18watt and 6500k $8 DL18/35 [20594] - $10.70 : Bulbman, We sell light bulbs... all of them!.

Would any1 know if this ballast would work on that kind of light i want to put 2x 18watt 4pin cf lights on my 10gall tank

Actually I was looking at that ballast last week. Cant answer you question, but I will be watching the thread. I dont think the ballast comes with the square pin connecters you need to plug the bulb in. Im sure you could soder something together and make it work, but I personally would feel better about the whole thing if I had a plug. If you know if the ballast has them included or where I could get some myself, please tell me - for that would be nice

im pretty sure it'll work but im also sure your going to still have to soder the wires together.

That ballast will power 2x 18w bulbs. If you click on the ballast, the close-up of the ballast says it can run 2x18w,2x26w, 2x32w or 2x42w bulbs.http://www.ballastwise.com/images/upload/products/x/DXE2HPL.jpg
So the answer to your question,I beleive, is yes. Hope that helps you,
