So I have noticed my solenoid isn't shutting off with the timer. When i unplug it, it works. So i took the solenoid apart and cleaned it. And its still not working. Its on the same timer as the lights, and they shut off and on, so i don't think its the timer. I wonder if its time to get a new one. Anyone else have problems with this?

get a good reliable new one. Don't buy cheap ones.
My guess is the connection to the magnet is broken. If you have a voltmeter, you can check.

Hmm, thats what i was fearing. I don't think i have a voltmeter, is that the same think you use to check fuses? Thanks.

The timer 'unplugs it.' It sounds like the wiring might be messed up?
