That brand name under the organic potting mix label works very well for me.
1.5 to 2" of dry soil and a 1" cap is what I would recommend based on what I've used.
Save some the capping material for touching up the cover layer at a later date as you move things around.

hahaha hope you do :proud:, if you do your homework and set it up right these tank are the easiest to keep up with,,, except for trimming so the fish can swim :smile:
