Manzi (2 to 4") is completely waterlogged. How long can it remain in dry hardscape until it floats again?

Reason I'm asking is that I have Aquasoil and plants are not ordered yet. I need to send a pic of hardscape to supplier.

Any guess?

If you can cover the tank to keep the moister in using the food wrap and mist it every day or so to keep it wet might work. It could be a stupid idea, but doesn't hurt to try.

Is your tank/hardscape currently set up?

If it's not, is attaching the manzanita to a slate tile an option?

Otherwise, can't you set up your tank, fill it, and send a pic, and keep it full until you get the plants (then drain, do the typical planting, and refill)?

Just out of curiosity, why do you have to send a pic?

I filled it last night...

Hardscape is in place. Filled tank last night. My actions may be premature due to the Aquasoil. I hope plants do as well without the initial ammonia release.

P.S.
A picture will help the company do a plant layout for me. I am new at this. Tank is 24 x 48 x 16".
