I've got bunch of shrimplets. And 3 berried females. Are they as easy as cherries?

Oops. :icon_redf Yeah, snowballs.
same as cherries
Well, then, I guess, I'm gonna have a lot of them. I thought they were not as easy as cherries.
red cherry, yellow shrimp, snowball and blue pearl are all about equal in terms of care, they all stem from similar backgrounds and will all interbreed.

I know. I still thought that yellows, snowballs, and blue perls were not as easy as cherries. Obviously, I was wrong.
I guess everything is relative... If you had a lot of trouble with keeping cherries alive, you'll have a harder time keeping snowballs alive. But if you can keep cherries alive, you shouldn't have any trouble keeping snowballs, blue pearls or yellow shrimp alive.

Well, I hoped that I'll be able to breed CRS almost as easy. My CRS tank is not doing that well.
CRS are a different beast. Remember, cherries are the same exact species as yellow shrimp, and blue pearl are the same exact species as snowballs... And they are all extremely similar. It's almost like asking "are crystal black shrimp as easy as crystal red shrimp", and yeah, they're the same.

But CRS and snowballs are two different shrimp altogether! You cannot compare, because CRS require pretty specific water parameters, whereas the neocaridina species are not picky.

I know.

I've got quite basic and quite hard tap water. Unfortunately I bought 20 CRS before I made my water right. It was pH 8 and very hard (frankly, I didn't do waterchanges often enough, so it got even harder, than tap water).

Surprisingly enough, CRS were doing well, just didn't want to breed. I began to do waterchanches twice a week with DI water. At some point I got two berried females. And then... They began to die out. :( I've got five or six of them left. Water is still too hard, GH 8. It seemed to become too acidic, pH 6.0 or a bit lower. I switched to RO water from Safeway, which is pH 7. I've got pH 7 in the tank right now. I still have one berried female. And it seems they don't die any more, but I'm not quite sure. Hope for best.
By the way, Ive got 5 pigmy cories in my CRS tank. Should I move them to Snowball tank or CPO tgank? Can they eat CRS shrimplets? Snowball shrimplets are not that valueable to me.

I've got 2 pigmy cories in my CPO tank. There are also cherries there that are breeding like roaches. Niether CPO nor cories can stop them. :)
