I had problems with my U. graminifolia, it all melted into nothing. Completely disintegrated. pH was low though (like 4.5).

Tank looks good. Lucky people like you have access to Tropica.

You are probably going to have a lot of problems with all that light and no CO2.

you don't need to feed them, they do take nutrients like all other plants.
i think it will look nice, but i don't know about the wood arrangements.

nice idea based around utricularia, but
1. pond lilies get *way* too big for a 20g,
2. that is a lot of light for no co2 (put out the Welcome mat for algae),
[/URL]).

The lilies are dwarf ones so it will be fine for awhile. The tank has had no algae already for several months. The tank set up was rushed, thats why no rocks, or decent wood.

Its pretty much a grow out tank for the UG.

Any updates? I'm getting a 20 gallon soon and I was wondering how the U.G. went with that light and no CO2. Do you dose excel? And what's your basic dosing schedule?

moss is looking good!

Silver and/or orange fish would look cool in there.
Maybe a pair of apistos and a school of hatchets up top?
How about some swordtails?
