My family and I have been putting this together for a little while. The water part is under construction. It's too messy, but now there's lots of bladder snails helping out.
We found this cave in our front yard and took an axe to the snail's head.
If you have any ideas for the plants for water part- which is about 3.5" and making 4ish gallons of water that would be helpful.

The giant snail was a murderous savage thar had to be stopped.
The bladder snails have now reached the size of... Of... Uhhhh small grapes? I have never seen a snail that size.
Thanks for spending time helping me with plants suggestions for the water section. Won't be needin 'em. Pennywort going crazy. Does anyone know when to harvest the seeds? No? No? Ok, well hopefully going to plant them in the garden this summer. The kids and I tasted the leaves. Tastes like leaves.
No other inhabitants except some fungus gnats. They get a nice yellow sticky welcome sign.
Bump: Polka dot plant plus stems that were placed in rooting powder. Really works well.
