Ok I some times get infected with snails from my plants so I throw in some clown loaches and BAG!! they are going in a couple of days?
I have seen some real nice looking snails with all kinds of colors and sizes some that are great to fight against algae ? Will I be wasting my time getting those snails or will they just become fancy food for the loaches , Is it just having one without the other?

I'm guessing you're talking about Nerite snails?

I was told that Nerites are safe with Dwarf Chain Loaches, but IDK about Clowns...?

clowns can grow to a foot. so no snails are safe.
