Hi,

one of my platys tried to eat a snail and, presumably, the shell is not stuck in its mouth. Its mouth seems to be propped open due to lodging.

Acting normal otherwise.

What can I do here? I really like this damn fish and I couldn't believe this happened. I would hate to lose her.

I guess if it fits in its mouth, it will try to eat it.

catch her, hold her still and try to get it out with a sharp nosed tweezer.

I was able to grab her and get it loose. was kind of nervous for some stupid reason. thanks

Hopefully next peak into the tank won't be a relapse of snail-stuck-in-mouth.
