Gyraulus albus. I have these in one of my tanks. They aren't the typical ramshorns that most people think of. It's a type of ramshorn but these have flat shells. Picture a normal ramshorn then turn it on it's side. Also these are only 1-3 mm big. They are so small and have such small eggs that they are imposible to completely get rid of, especially if you have mosses. I had dwarf puffers that ate them. I thought I had eradicated them but after the puffers died. The snails came back. I now use assasin snails. They deffinietly help. I tore down my shrimp tank, bleached everything and started over just to get rid of them in that tank.
