Snail egg question

A friend gave me some snails yesterday and once they were added I noticed these white specs everywhere. Not sure if they’re related but couldn’t find an answer online.

Are the snails Nerites? If so, they will lay white eggs all over the tank, and they are like cement lol...

I can't view those links for some reason...

Yup. A female nerite will lay sesame seed like eggs everywhere. In a small tank it can look quite bad. Unfortunately the eggs will stay around for ages, years even. I had to use a metal brush to remove them from some Rose wood a while ago.
