Im new to the freshwater side of things and was wondering if i could get an ID on these snails and maybe on the algae growing on the leaves of a couple of my plants. This is just a quick pic i took with my phone. I an try to get a better one if need be.

Bladder snails and likely diatom algae. The latter is very common in new tanks and tends to go away as a tank settles in.

Thanks! Im used to diatom being on the sand but glad to hear that is all it is. Also nice to hear from a fellow Marylander! Where about in MD are you? Im in Harford county
