Bulldog / Rubbernose or Bristlenose pleco if you want a pleco that scrubs glass and wood. Chaetostoma sp. / Ancistrus sp.

Otocynclus are good for films, diatoms, and maybe some short fuzz algae.
Cardina shrimp are good for hair and fuzz.

Siamese Algae Eaters are great for black brush, fuzz and hair algae but get 6 inches long and should be in a school or small group. They like moss, too. Flagfish (Jordanella floridae) are similar to SAEs as far as diet but much smaller, they like to eat plants too, sometimes chomp them in a dominance display.

Have a look at parotocinclus... "pitbull pleco". I have 2 parotocinclus pernambuco and they are the best algae eaters I have. Mine are about 2 inches. I think that's about max. Parotocinclus jumbo are more commonly sold as the typical "pitbull pleco" but my LFS had both.
