Slime Mold

It's moved to a place on my driftwood that's hard to take a picture of. The stuff moves around and is not always on the same spot. White spidery looking stuff.

I read somewhere that it's actually alive, pretty rare and very hard to keep that way. If what you are describing is the same thing, it's pretty interesting (in someone elses tank).

I don't remember how to get rid of it or what it's called. I'll have to see if i can find where i read about i.

Might you be thinking of Bryozoa?

Didn't know what it was until I googled a description of what I was seeing and found other folks that have had it in their tanks. It's been in there for a week or two? I'll try to get a pic the next time it comes out of hiding if it lives that long.
