Small town in VA bout 2hrs outside of Roanoke :)
Nice. I have been hiking the Smokey MNTs for years doing one leg at a time trying to work my way to the top:)
Im an Appalachain trail hiker myself!

Oh man, not to derail. But I bet we could share some stories! I took one last trip before winter up to the Cahutta Wildeness. Lots of huge bears:)
lol! I am also an avid Hiker, Im sure we could all share some crazy adventures. It is amazing how rugged some of this terrain can get.
Folks dont realize how steep the east coast mnts are. These mnts are unforgiving. Your either going up for long periods of time, or coming straight down.

They do not look all to bad to me ;p
Although I am used to driving up I-70 in a full on snow storm into the rocky mountains lol

Beautiful pictures, makes me want to go out east for a visit soon.

I caught this one just after the fires were put out here in Colorado

Its not very steep looking here as these pics are taken from around 1000ft in altitude :) I have never been out west more than just flying into LA for a visit and flying back to the east coast so I have no judgement on it...would like to visit tho. Nice photo, btw!
nice mustang! not a gt? probably the worst car for mountain roads, but looks like fun either way. i wish i got to drive thru the wilderness and mountains on a regular. all i get to see is dirty philly.
Nah hence its the daily driver, but with some modifications and a procharger there is more than enough power to go around. I grew up in dirty philly so I can understand, it was a culture shock moving down here, lol.
Nice pictures, here is one I took a bit ago. Granted, it isn't a sunny photo, it is of AZ before one of the really crazy rain storms that dropped lots of hail. Which I've been told is pretty rare for Arizona.

Awesome photos all, thanks for sharing :)

From the landscape sewingalot doesnt look like your terribly far form here.
Aren't they beautiful? I love this part of the country. Except for the pollen count. :)
@ sewingalittle...that is beautiful. All I have is corn on the left and beans on the right.
