[Down_Shift]

So I have a giant poland spring bottle that I use to fill the fish tanks. What I do is fill the bottle and put a little bit of prime into it.. then let it sit for a few days before i use it.

I noticed today that the water has some kind of white flake at the bottle. Not alot of them, but enough for me to be worried.. is this from letting the water sit for a while? (Faucet water)

Probably sodium thiosulfate crystals.
It would be hard to measure the small amount of Prime that would only treat the contents of a water bottle. Flush the bottle out a couple of times with fresh tap water to remove the crystals.

May also be just solids precipitating out of the tap water. Our well water will do that. Leaves residue on everything...
