Similar to Anubias, but likes light

876 1
I used to have Anubias barteri and Anubias nana tucked in the branches in this tank, but they got too much light.

Anyone have any suggestions for similar plants that do well in medium light? Specifically I'm looking for something with similar leaf size and stiffness, that will stay ridged in the high flow.

I just picked up a a banana plant (Nymphoides aquatica) and was thinking of attaching to the branch, but I think it might need to have it's roots in contact with the substrate. Anyone know about this one way or the other? I'm still looking for suggestions for other plants to use. The goal is to have the plant leaves create slow flow havens beneath them, for Sparkling Gourami to hang out in.
