Does it wipe off? It looks like a little bit of BBA. You might try dosing some excel to it.
Hi thanks for your reply,
just to confirm that the black dose not wipe off?

also could you tell me what excel is ?
excel is a bottled solution which has high carbon content. It is also used as an algicide. Search seachem excel and you'll be able to find it.
For the deficiency part, there are some other things that needs to be addressed to pinpoint the problem.

Does the problem only affect one leaf or the entire plant, or several plant? (if its entire plant or several plant, then may be some kind of deficiency)

what kind of substrate are you using? (If it is a rich substrate, then most probably micros will not be the problem)

Do you have low, medium or high light? (this will give clue on fert consumption)

Any CO2 injection(DIY/pressurized/none)? (with combination of lighting and fert dosing info will give clue on problem)

How long have the plant been in the tank? (this part tells you that the plant may be melting from transplant or trying to convert from emersed to submersed form, BBA from tank it came from, etc.)

Thanks got looking.
how long is your light on for a day? you may want to try to limit your photoperiod if its more than 6-8 hrs. Sounds like you have algae problem consistently and this may have been caused by excessive photoperiod. First to kill off the algae, you may try h202 spot treating or something like excel/metricide 14. I have had some success with using h2o2 with BBA. You may also get some ottos to help eat off the algae after you have treated it with h2o2 or excel. Then limit your photoperiod and see what the reaction is for a couple of weeks.
