Wow that's amazing. You know what's funny? I get a rock from a tank with cherries, put it in another tank with cherries, and its swarmed with it. WEIRD!

I always use my shrimp tank as cleaners for other tanks. I'll take plants out from other tanks that might have algae on them and a few hours later it's nice and clean. Got to love those cherries :)

I think its more a trick of the lighting, it really isn't that different from any of the others. I find as they get mature the females especially get the stripe down their back. I guess the angle of the shrimp to the lights just highlighted it better.

Shrimp

The funny thing is today when I looked at it, maybe 4 or 5 shrimp on it.

Here is another shot, a bit more of a closeup.

Wow great pics. I, also love the red shrimps with white or pink stripe down the back. They are just going crazy over that. I wonder if anyone has made a cherry shrimp almost black with a stripe. o_O

That's pellia, and it's gorgeous!

Those are great shots. I've never seen so many shrimp gathered in one spot like that. I'll have to try putting something from another tank in there and see what happens.

Do you have any full tank shots?

That mini pellia is gorgeous!! I want some! :) I have regular pellia and it grows fast.

Do find the mini variety to grow as quickly? Or is it a slow grower?

It is a fairly slow grower
I would have to say it has about doubled in size over 4 months
