So far, so good. Only been up a bit so I'll have to see the long term but the theory behind it is sound, shrimp loves sponges, big sponge wall should be happy shrimp. lol. This tank is more an experiment about setting up a tank without active substrate and keeping, breeding and raising high grade crystal shrimp in a near neutral water. Using RO water and bit of Ebiken Sosei, my water is about 6.7-6.8pH, bee mineral plus for the RO and the HMF filter and that's it.Hey Geto,
How do you like the HMF?? I am thinking of setting one up in a 40 breeder.
Thanks,
Tim
Your tank really inspired me. I can't wait toHere's mine. The moss is scattered in the back & the rocks in the front are there in hopes of growing some biofilm for the shrimp to eat
