Look like the owner used CO2 in there. No problem with the shrimps but the juvies can't survive
I just wanna know what the moss growing secret is?
Easy if you know me... just don't do anything I do you'll be fine.

Juvies can survive fine with CO2. I have a bunch of Neos that do fine. I do notice the population of babies aren't as high with CO2 for some caridinas. But pejerry and others have done it with no problem whatsoever.

Stable tank parameters, don't keep the temps too high, CO2 helps a little bit, and keep the muck off the moss. You'll be fine.
Gorgeous tanks! these tanks always make me jealous :)

No co2, just cool water, stable parameters, and lots of crs to clean every single frod, haha.

This is what the tank looked like a few years ago before I rebooted it.

Looked good pre reboot lol. What plant is the carpet plant and what params does it need?
My favorite grass plant! UG. really, the thing I noticed about UG to get it to really take off is that it likes a lot of water flow, it will grow really long then fall over on top of itself, then send up new leaves, and do the same thing, eventually though if you dont keep it trim, the very bottom layer dies, and the whole mat floats.

Pardon me for asking but, what is UG? I see people using these abbreviations for plants that I would love to have but, I never know what they are called. so if some kind soul could tell what what that is, it would be much appreciated.

Ultricularia graminifolia.
