this is my first time hatching killifish and they just hatched a few hours ago, i was wondering after i move them to a seperate tank can i put some week old cherry shrimps in with them to eat uneaten food and other mess? or will they eat the baby killis?

the killis are Nothobranchius Korthausae Red
and Nothobranchius Fuscotiniatus Kitonga north TAN97/9

Sometimes shrimp will eat eggs. I think that Someone at killies.com may have used shrimp to take care of eggs though, can't remember 100%. I would head over to killies.com and ask about this.

I raise both killies (various types including Nothobranchius species) and RCS. Contrary to popular belief, I have found that all my killies raised from hatchlings with RCS ignore the RCS as a food source once the fish mature. I have never witnessed a RCS bothering the fry in any way. I too use the RCS in addition to snails to prevent uneaten food from fouling the water. Best of luck with the new killies.
