I am fairly new to this sight. I haven’t quite got the hang of everything but I love it so far. There is so much helpful information.
My question is what do I need to know before I get shrimp? I don’t know too much about them but I know that they would Be wonderful clean off my plants and I have always loved watching them in other peoples tanks.
Shrimp for beginners. What are common eschews that happen? Are some shrimp easier to care for than others? Special food for the babies? Illnesses? Best ways to clean a tank that has shrimp?
I always like to research something before I get it especially when it is a living thing. So that I am prepared and I will be able to tell early if there is a problem.


Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for posting the link. It’s nice to get information from people that actually know what they are doing rather than just reading about it.
There is so much conflicting information out there it’s nice to have somewhere to get some real information from people that actually have shrimp.
