Is the sac sensitive to changes of water? I found a dead shrimp, took her out right away to put the net above some water movement in a different tank. Unsure of parameters, but difference I'm sure. Then forgot that tank starving guppies, in which case if the dead mother managed not to be eaten than the babies will. So moved back into shrimp tank, will somehow attempt to remove shrimp and egg.

Also what would cause a death in berried shrimp? Not bacteria, no signs of parasite/infection, just happened to see a shrimp munching on her, assuming it was mating in that position.

Doubting the failed molt since eggs still attached and she recently molted.

Believe this shrimp was recently berried also, I'd say 2 days.

You can try putting the eggs in a small mesh bag in the back of a HOB filter. The current may keep them from molding. If there's no current, they will mold in a few days.
