is there certain time , month or season for breeding shrimps?

in summer time my shrimps bred very well

and now none my shrimps are berried expect RCS :icon_roll

Many people say that there are different seasons for shrimp breeding but my CRS/CBS breed non stop throughout the year. I get just as many berried females in Spring as I get in Winter. At the moment I have about 12 berried cardina females.

Try changing some things up like adding an air stone, some new almond leaves, increasing the temp to around 73.5 degrees etc. Check your PH as well as your substrate might have worn out its buffering ability.

might be a temp thing too. i know with some fish there are different things that can trigger breeding like temp and water changes with cooler water and what not. my crs stopped breeding about in october and here lately i have been leaving the light on longer (longer light cycle and warmer temps due to said light) and i now have 3 berried so i think its a possible triger
