I can't raise my bulbs. I used to run only 2 bulbs but was having issues with my plants. The plants as a whole are dong much better with the three bulbs. I run the lights for 8 hours. I have very good water circulation as is and have good water surface movement. My filters are in very good shape and on this tank I do weekly 25 to 30% WC.
Most of the BBA is on leaves not much on equipment or hard scape. I was dosing about two times the recommend amount. Might have to go back to targeted dosing. Some of the bba is on old damaged leaves. A lot of it is on healthy leaves and multiple leaves on the same plant. Should I just cut them off?

I know, my plants are far happier with 8 hours of light. You can only go so low before you are hurting the plants trying to reduce light enough to discourage algae!

How are the plants growing? Happy plants don't collect a lot of algae.

I am doing 8 hours of light as mentioned. My plants seem to be growing pretty well. The red tiger lotus seem to be slowing down a little bit.

Why haven't you raised your CO2?

As my original post says I am in the process of increasing the CO2. Just going slowly. At the point now where my drop checker is green after about six hours so still slowly increasing. Just wanted to know if I should change my lighting as well or just leave it as I work with the CO2.
Overall the plants seem very happy. Tho I guess my tiger lotus are slowing down a little bit.
