Hi folks,
I have a new set up that's been running nicely for almost 2 weeks. It's a 2.5 gal heavily planted.
I'm using the Reno 7" led lighting made for nano tanks. It's 4.5 watts of white leds.
It lights up the tank nicely and does look bright, but I'm also using white sand and I'm sure it adds to the brightness.
I'm going to the lfs on the weekend and I'm thinking about getting another one of the same led and use both on my tank. Reason also is because I want to add a stem of rotala wallichi so I want that nice bright pink top. I also want to provide enough light for the lower plants when everything grows out and becomes dense.
Is a total of 9 watts too much for a 2.5 gal?
I have a 0.7 ph drop from co2 and dosing EI.
Thanks
