Hi I'm not sure If this is the correct Place to ask this but where can I buy the insulated styrofoam for shipping fish?

Building supply stores sell it as insulation in 4x8 sheets.

You can get styrofoam sheets at home improvement or hardware stores and cut to fit.

Do a search in your area for discount boxes or discount shipping supplies. You may get lucky and find somewhere that has any shipping equipment you'd ever need.

Ask your lfs if they have any in the back. If they don't, I agree with others- home improvement and hardware stores.

I use the styrofoam insulation from Home depot or Lowes.Its pretty cheap for a large piece.

Do they actually sell just those boxes, or isn't that just a "box charge" that you have to add when you also buy plants?

No luck at home depot, lowes, ace, and other hardware/building supply stores. Would using regular styrofoam work or does anyone have any other options.

you get styrofoam pannels and cut them to fit, they dont sell boxes pre lined with styrofoam. roud:

I agree,all you need is a fairly good sized sheet of styrofoam.

the link was for foam insulation.I know they sell them there,all HD and lowes does.It will be in the building supply area,close to the wood.The insulation sheets are huge,lol.

all you do is cut them to fit the box you choose to ship in.
