Hello,
Can anyone tell for sure the sex of these rams? I think they are both female based on the dorsal fin but not positive. They have been really friendly with each other which I read is rare for two of the same sex. They even sometimes do a little flirty dance.

I think you might have a male/female pair there.....but a little hard to tell from the photos. When it comes to rams I've always found the most reliable method of sexing is to use the anal fin as a gauge. On males the anal fin is a bit longer than females and extends past the spot where the body and caudal fin (tail) meet. On females, the anal fin tends to stop at or just before that joint between body/tail.
