After a crazy transition from Northern Virginia to Kansas City, Missouri, I finally got my 40g breeder back up and running. The plan was to set this up right after I moved but I suffered from sepsis so that recovery put things on hold, especially with the new job transition.
Anyway, here's the new setup. Mostly trying to just grow plants with minimal fuss (using EI method). I realized I needed to amp up the lights so spent a couple hundred on the new strips--which are real nice.
Plants mostly from LFS (Miles of Exotics). The stuff I ordered from Buce sucked. Absolutely sucked.
A handful of juvenile Congo Tetras and green cory round out the fauna.
I forgot how cathartic aquascaping can be. Cheers! -Ed
