Hi, i have a 10g tank cycled with sand in it. I was going to add drift wood in so that i could attach java fern and anubias nana, but i've been soaking the driftwood for about a month now and the water still has that tea color and i wanted to know if there is anyway to speed this up. Also how long should i leave the lights on and would a 12in t5 single strip bulb be enough light?

Water changes, using purigen and surprisingly api bio chem zorb works with clearing the water. The only downside is that bio chem zorb is expensive
