Hey everyone, quick question, I have a 40 gallon highly planted tank with about 20 serpe tetras, every so often I will end up with what looks like eggs floating on the top of the water. The tank was setup for about 6 months before adding fish and never noticed anything like that before. I’m assuming they are trying to breed, but I have never seen eggs float before. Any ideas what it could be if not and could these be viable eggs?

It's not fish eggs - it appears to be the tiny floating water plant, Wolffia. There are several species and they are stemless, rootless & tiny flowering plants. It is sometime called watermeal. If you roll it in your fingers you'll find it is "mealy" to the touch.
