Has anybody had experience with the SENEYE water monitor, it senses PH temp light levels and ammonia and through WIFI connectivity can send alerts to you via email. I just wonder about its accuracy at the price point.

Two things disturb me about this, one is that it requires a replacement slide on a continual basis. It's also not clear whether this is part of a subscription package you are paying for, but at minimum it appears to run over $120/year additional fees.

The other is that rather than being a sensor you can plug into your own monitoring, it appears to require a connection to their servers to provide data, which you then get via web or SMS messages (and of course this means giving over your email, phone number, etc. to them). While aquarium data is not exactly secret, one would hope this was an extra feature not a required feature.
