Does anyone have recommendations on the best temperatures for moss?

I've got a 2.5G betta tank, and the recommended temp for bettas is 79 - 82 deg F. This seems to be at or above the recommended temperature for keeping java moss or Christmas moss. Has anyone had success keeping these mosses at 79-82? Or failure? :icon_wink

And are there any mosses that would be a better choice for a warmish betta tank?

Thanks, folks!

I don't think beata's need temps anywhere near 80. Are you sure that info is correct?
If I said need, I mistyped; more accurate would be, "Bettas prefer a temperature of 79-82 deg F." Many people keep bettas in bowls without heaters, but if the temperature falls below 77 or 78, most bettas start to clamp their fins and sit motionless in a corner. Raise the temperature up to 79, more in line with Thailand water temperatures, and they start becoming active again.

My mosses (java taiwan and weeping) grow stringy near or above 80.
Thank you for the info; this is just the sort of data I'm looking to collect!
