I am not sure if I am the first to do this but, I found that I was getting some metal precipitates using ascorbic acid to acidify my micro solution. I normally use a pre-made iron solution instead of adding DTPA/EDTA to my mix so this might be why. However, I was able to resolve the precipitate using a 1:100 addition of seachem prime (sodium thiosulfate) to the solution. Prime as I understand is a reducing agent so I think it helps turn the insoluble oxides back into soluble metals.

Just a tip for you guys.
