My Barb tank is heavily planted with pressurized Co2. For a while now I have noticed them all scratching on plants/gravel/rocks. Tested water, nothing bad there.
temp 26
PH 7
Am 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
KH 4 (i think it was?)
I have scaleless Koolie Loaches in there so id like to know what meds are safe for my plants the Koolies and will cure my Barbs?
No Ich visable no slime on gills that I can see? All eating chasing as normal but very irritated with the itching:icon_sad:
As much as I love my Barbs I love my plants more and dont want a med to harm them! Any advise would be greatly appreciated :help:

external parasites. if you dont see ich, then its likely velvet. you can use a flashlight to check for a yellow shiny dust on them.
i dont know about scaleless fish, but i normally treat it with increased temps, salt, CuSO4, and sometimes malachite green (if it gets bad before i notice).
