Once it has ramped down to your moonlight setting, it will stay there until it's time to ramp back up to daylight in the morning. It won't turn completely off.
Satellite plus pro moonlight question?
Does this light ramp up for 15 minutes, run for how long you set it and what brightness you set it at, ramp down for 15 minutes, switch automatically to your customized moonlight mode, run for how long you set it, then turn off for the day? Or is this wishful thinking on my part?

Thank you! And, can it be set on a timer so it does turn off all the way? Then back on the next day if the 2nd timer is set for earlier than the sunrise timer? Or does it reset each time it loses power?
Yep, that's the way I use mine.
