satellite dual power compact questions

im building a custom tank thats 15 inch cube, 14gal capacity. im looking at light fixtures and they are only available in either 12 inch, or 20 inch. the one im interesting in is the Satellite Dual power compact Lights. if i get the legs for the lights, are they adjustable length that i could move in and out?
