I was out on vacation for about 2 weeks and came home to a samurai gourami female that had grown a bump above its mouth/eyes and something black on its mouth.

Does anyone know what this could be from? All other fish, invertebrates and plants are fine at this point.

I've had these gouramis for about a year now.

I think I'm seeing a white spot on another gourami as well. I did a water change and am starting a maracyn two cycle.

I'm guessing the lack of food plus the water evaporation when I was out was enough to weaken a few.
