I have two pictures that will show you the hardscapes I am working with.


I am trying to get a grasp of where I am going with this tank, so for now I will make a thread and see if anyone has any suggestions.

I will take a picture tomorrow with a new layout.

I would start off by looking at some images of planted tanks and make note of what grabs your eye. Try to find what exactly is pleasing to you in each (I.E. color, placement, shape). This process should get you heading in a direction. I would also read up on the rule of thirds. Also keep in mind that the human I likes triangles, and triangles are everywhere in nature. I hope this helps.
