I would not take the risk, particularly since there are so many trustworthy people on this forum doing special orders.it seems that there're mixed reviews about this company. I found as many good reviews as bad ones. With their pricing though, is it not worth the risk?
So that's why some forums have banned reviews? You'd think they would know not every company is going to react by suing.Presumably this is why there are no vendor reviews permitted on this site:

That article is 9 years old. Keep in mind, sites like Yelp, Trip Advisor, etc are built on user reviews. Those sites aren't sued into oblivion. So that lawsuit had no merit I would think, I didn't read the entire article.Besides the risk, they also have some pretty insane minimum order/shipping prices IIRC.

I admittedly have a rather poor understanding of the law, but what I gathered from that article was that they settled because the defendants ran out of money for their defense fund, or something like that? I would assume they would've won though, had they carried all the way through. Either way, seems silly that's why reviews are banned on this forum. That article is 9 years old. That sounds exactly like AZ Gardens.honest business that prides itself on customer service
Yelp and others have deep enough pockets to defend themselves from meritless lawsuits. Most people who run message boards don't. If you've never been involved in a lawsuit, you would be amazed how quickly the lawyer bills pile up, even when you are clearly in the right. That article is 9 years old. The way I see it, any honest business that prides itself on customer service should find reviews as a great way for them to improve their service w/o spending any money.
But what I don't understand is that I still see countless posts inside threads criticizing products and companies so why arent' they removed if they are so fearful?
