SA inverts?

Does anyone know any breeders of South American inverts? I'm looking for freshwater shrimp and crabs that are found in Colombia. The problem, is that exporting crustaceans from Colombia is illegal, so I'm having a hard time finding any. I assume that the same inverts from Colombia are found in other countries as well, so I'm hoping that some are at least available.

Shall be curious to see what others say on this. I tend to keep my stocking continent specific, and realised a South American tank would lack the presence of shrimp. And I know there are bodies of fresh water teeming with shrimp in South America.
BTW love your profile picture. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are some of my favourite games.

From the links, it looks like some Palaemonetes and Macrobranchium species come from South America. You could probably make do with ghost shrimp, since I know that most ghost's are some species of Palaemonetes, and occasionally you'll find some Macros in there as well (they're the ones with the giant claws). You could probably substitute some species for others (ex. using the common feeder "ghost" shrimp to sub for the Columbian species of Palaemonetes).

Is this for that biotope tank you're setting up for your senior project? Looking up some assays of rivers in Columbia might give you a sample of what inverts are native to the area, and you could most likely find conspecifics that have the same ecological role.

I noticed the ghost shrimp, and will probably have to go with them. And this is for my personal Colombian biotope. looking up the essays would give me an idea of what is found there, but the real problem is finding them for sale somewhere.
