I was watching my tank just now and noticed that 1 rummynose has white cottony fuzz on his tail fin. His tail fin looks pale in color and has a white cottony ball stuck on it. His behavior is normal and is swimming around happily.

All other rummynose look fine. My rams also look fine and usually they are the first ones to show any kind of disease, but they are doing great and in fact their fins have all healed very well after tearing eachother up fighting.

I cant tell if its bacterial or fungal, but im doing a 50% water change now. I think thats all I will do for now.

Any advice is appreciated.:help:

Quarantine. I just lost 20+ fish because of an unidentified fuzzy growth on one of my fish.

I did 50% water change last night, and also made the decision to dose 15ml Melafix and 15ml Pimafix. This morning the tetras fin is looking improved, the cotton ball is half the size it was yesterday. I will do another WC tomorrow.
