After a callimanus medication wiped out most of my rummy nose tetras a couple months ago I restocked the tank last Monday. They must be reasonably happy in the tank as they have bright red heads, silver bodies, and strong white/black tails. They are also active. One thing I noticed however is that the few survivors from the first batch now have pale yellow stripes in their tails rather than white. I distinctly remember them being white when I purchased them. I haven't been able to find much mention of this online. I'm assuming it has something to do with water parameters or feeding, but I'm not sure what. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this?
