I had some myriophyllum mattogrossense and it had to be 2" per day.... got really annoying

At 110 PAR easily an inch a day.

Does take some management that is for sure.

Grows like a weed but it doesnt mind getting topped and replanted once a week, can leave the stumps to come out, whatever. It doesnt care what you do to it.

So it's not too much trouble maintaining a group. It's nice enough to justify a little extra effort.

I found a way to stop it in its tracks... add some Platys!! The demolished what I had. It was growing, well, like a weed, about an inch+ almost daily. Reached the top and was filling in nicely when they must have gotten a taste for it.

Now it is all gone....

Just keep those omnivores away and you'll be fine.
